Cirali - the picturesque village of Cirali is found in one of the most beautiful parts of the south coast of Turkey, which is also known as the Turkish Rivièra. The village is still a long way away from the areas spoiled by mass tourism and its concrete hotels. There are only small scale hotels and guest houses, all run by local families dedicated to their trade. The village lies at some 80 km distance from Antalya Airport and is easily reached by road.
Cirali is surrounded by groves of orange and lemon trees and is a true paradise for those that wish to experience the beauty of an unspoiled natural environment and the famous Turkish hospitality.
In the direct vicinity of the village one finds many sites of historical importance and natural beauty, such Mount Chimera (Yanartaşss) with its eternal fire and the ruins of the ancient port of Olympos with the tomb of Eudemos. Olympos and Çıiiralıii and its surroundings have been designated as conservation areas.
Cirali Bay stretches across some 4.9 km and is bordered in the north and south by impressive cliffs. The beach is made up of sand and pebbles. It is famous for the Caretta caretta - a protected species of sea turtle that returns here every year to lay thousands of eggs in the sand.
Cirali has much to offer to lovers of nature, hikers, mountain climbers, cyclists and those that seek only the sun or to enjoy the traditional Turkish way of life. There are many markets - mini-supermarkets where one can buy almost anything, from swimming gear to a cucumbers.
The bustling town of Kemer is only half an hour away by car. Here are a modern hospital, a number of private clinics open to all, a marina, a public swimming pool, many shops and some modern discotheques and night clubs.
Cirali is the ideal destination for those seeking to escape the worries of every day life, be it for a short or a long time.
